Adult Swim Drops “Adult Swim Jr.” Flavored Episodes of “Rick and Morty” ; Other Series

It’s been a yearly tradition for Adult Swim to feature some sort of a stunt for April Fools Day. Last year it was a marathon of sneak peek episodes, years prior, Bushworld Adventures. For 2021, it’s Adult Swim Jr. That’s right, it’s a lineup of classic Adult Swim content but with kids taking over voice acting jobs for most of the cast. For example, the first episode featured is Rick and Morty: Babies, complete with a new baby intro, the episode is really the exact same production as ever, but with kids taking over the voices of all of the different Rick and Morty characters. The first episode picked was “Total Rickall” and the network has also teased baby adaptations of Superjail, Aqua Teen, The Boondocks, Venture Bros., 12 oz Mouse, and more. One of the funny parts of this, the kids are doing the dialogue, but any previously crass language has been removed in favor of more kid-friendly language.

I would love a real Adult Swim Jr. channel, certainly would be better than the Cartoon Network crap they’ve been doing lately.
