Panel News: “The Great North” @ TCA 2021 ; “M.O.D.O.K.” Headed To All-Digital WonderCon 2021

M.O.D.O.K. is scheduled to release its 10 episodes on Hulu on May 21, 2021.
Cast and crew for FOX’s The Great North took part in a Q&A panel at this year’s TCA 2021 where we got to hear everything about the new series that is set to see it’s first season finale on May 16th (with Family Guy). Among the highlights (other than the behind-the-scenes clip of Housebroken which is slated to premiere this May) were insights and anecdotes from The Great North’s cast which included Alanis Morissette, Megan Mullaly, Will Forte, Jenny Slate, Dulce Sloan, Aparna Nuncherla, Paul Rust, and the Molyneux sisters who created the series.
Having just coming off of working with Bob’s Burgers for so many seasons, Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux wanted to keep the same kind of “good-hearted comedy” vibe that the aforementioned series had but still having some gross out moments, “sometimes edgy stuff is just how gross can they make it,” says Jenny Slate “there’s no bitterness on our show”, though Wendy notes that there are still strict network standards & practices, Lizzie says, “There’s nowhere else we’d rather be in animation”. The Great North producers also had a lot of say into their characters, for example, Dulce Sloan gave notes about her character’s physique, “She’s not a token character, she’s made a part of the family”.
The Great North has an all-new episode premiering this Sunday @ 830 pm ET/PT only on FOX.
Synopsis:
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
