English Dub Review: Noblesse “Night’s Footsteps/Fall Out”
Overview (Spoilers Below)
As M-21 attempts to acclimate himself into a normal life, he finally begins to develop some degree of mutual trust with Regis, even though the two of them initially clashed over petty squabbles. Meanwhile, the Union’s special forces team sends out a squad lead by DA-5, and they finally pinpointed M-21’s location…
Our take
Three episodes in and I’m already noticing a pattern with the story-structure of these episodes where it’s pretty much all story, random bits of comedy, with some action added at the end. It’s a little repetitive, but at least the action is decent. I also think we got some interesting character relationship building among the expanded cast here. Other than the union trying to get their hands on M-21, the business of Raizel and the rest are still calm as ever.
Overall, this was another episode that seemed mostly comedic, but it looks like the plot is finally getting somewhere. If I have any major complaints so far, it’s that I think the show has too much of a slow-burn at times with its pacing in terms of story-structure, but at least this episode ended on such an intense cliffhanger that can easily leave anyone hooked.
