Review: Wild Life “Broadcast Zoos”
The zoo finds a previously operable broadcast station that allows them to build a lineup a content for all of types of viewers. Corruption quickly ensues when Deborah makes a behind-the-back deal with a white supremacist to make her #1, but not before zombies invade the park leaving to full on televised blood sport.
Our Take
We get one of the more satisfying efforts yet for the penultimate episode of Wild Life and if you need only one episode to make you a fan of this series, it’s this one. Featuring ultra violence, dramatic elements, and probably too much information on how the actual television industry works, Wild Life broadcasts a new episode that should not only to continue to satisfy current fans, but hopefully shepherd new ones.
In terms of premise, I’m quickly preferring episodes of Wild Life that are more ensemble, and less reliant on just Glenn or any one character, almost giving me Archer vibes just with animals. We’re still discovering new settings, and this makes for exciting potential in the future.
Octopie Studios is also quickly building a name in Hollywood, and they should. The studio is slowly starting to spread it’s wings and bring us some great productions, and this episode features a lot of the things adult animation producers want to see that should more than help them get attention for additional projects.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
