Netflix Continues Investments In Korea & Japanese Produced Animation

Netflix announced it has entered into production line partnerships with four anime production studios ANIMA & COMPANY owning NAZ, Science SARU and MAPPA from Japan, as well as Studio Mir based in Korea  Netflix has inked non-exclusive production line partnerships with other Japanese production houses including Production I.G and bones in 2018, and Anima, Sublimation and David Production in 2019. With today’s announcement, they have expanded beyond Japan into Korea.

Netflix has already announced 2021 anime adaptations of the following:

  • Spriggan (David Production)
  • Vampire in the Garden (WIT STUDIO – a group company under Production I.G)
  • Super Crooks (Bones)
