Review: The Casagrande’s “Bo Bo Business”

Overview

After a disagreement with Abuelo, Bobby goes to work for the neighboring Korean supermarket run by Mr. Hong to try out his new business ideas and prove their effectiveness.

Our Take

While the episode was a weird one in terms of pacing, the heart of it was mostly about living in the now and finding out which ideas work from a marketing standpoint. At one point Bobby tries out a few ideas while working for Hong, but progressively learns that not all of them can be winners and at the end of the day, sometimes you need to make a compromise between both parties that can be mutually beneficial.

This wasn’t a bad episode but was mostly a slow burn and the end as it predictably felt like a by-the-numbers structured sitcom where a lesson was learned after some wacky hijinx.
