Adult Swim News: “Samurai Jack” ; “Rick and Morty” ; “Momma Named Me Sheriff” ; “Ballmastrz: 9009”

Displaced to the distant future by an evil shape-shifting wizard named Aku, the great warrior Samurai Jack travels a bleak and alien landscape in search of a time portal that can transport him back home. Under Aku’s rule, the world is segregated into tribes, each overseen by the wizard’s robot warlords. Jack, a man of few words, must rely upon his physical strength and mental powers as he encounters exotic cities and strange cultures in this stylized action series from the creator of “Dexter’s Laboratory.”
Russian channel 2×2 is teasing that Rick and Morty Season Four will return May 2020. The channel had posted an article about it earlier today but quickly deleted it leaving fans to speculate how accurate the rumor is.
Rick and Morty is a show about a sociopathic scientist who drags his unintelligent grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe. Created and executive produced by Dan Harmon (Community, Channel 101) and Justin Roiland (House of Cosbys).
I’m hearing that Adult Swim has ordered Momma Named Me Sheriff for a second season and the show is in pre-production now with the producers working from home.
Momma Named Me Sheriff is an American adult animated sitcom created by Will Carsola and Dave Stewart for Adult Swim. The show serves as a spin-off/sequel series to Mr. Pickles, and focuses on Old Town’s dimwitted Sheriff.
