Syfy Late-Night Saturday To Kick Off 2020 With Linear Premieres For “Purgatony” & “Don’t Feed the Humans”
Tomorrow night will begin more than a week-long slate of premieres for various original animated series kicking off 2020 and that starts tomorrow night. Not only is Toonami locked and loaded, but Syfy has announced that they will also have a slew of programming that will get their linear TV premieres.
Last year, the Saturday Night lineup for Syfy saw linear TV premieres for Brogan: Master of Castles, Hell Den, and TZGZ. And while it looks like TZGZ is staying put for now, the network has announced the television premieres of Purgatony and Don’t Feed the Humans, two series that are currently available on Youtube and VRV/Mondo. The Don’t Feed the Humans premieres will feature episodes “Mating Day” and “Happy Borfday, Jack” while Purgatony kicks off with “History’s Greatest Monster”. Don’t Feed the Humans previously aired its entire run on Adult Swim Canada as part of Night Sweats that you can read reviews for here.
In Purgatony, a guy named Tony is spending his afterlife working at a Purgatory tiredly evaluating and deciding who gets sent to heaven and who gets sent to hell, along with others,as part of his job working for his boss,Death, who costantly tells him what he is doing wrong and tasking him with different things that Tony has trouble accomplishing as well as Tony dealing with his super perky co-worker,Chad Bradley.
In Don’t Feed the Humans, alien abduction isn’t fun for anybody. But it’s even worse when you’re dumped in an alien zoo and expected to live happily ever after.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
