English Dub Review: Actors: Songs Connection “Stravagante”

Because there is old music material in regards to the whole Slive Central, the people within the archaeology department who came to the local museum in the ninth school district. The teacher, Washiho Usuki, who had doubts about the contents of the exhibition, touched the terminal that was ahead of the prohibited section. In a separate subplot, Mike Enjoji loses consciousness in the hall after tripping into the mythically gorgeous Geisha Yoshihara Yukaku as a medieval Japanese Geisha/Escort named “Mitsue”.

Our Take

A good half of this week’s episode is seen pandering to teenage girls who favor effeminate looking dudes who sing, while the other half felt like a Quantum Leap episode with Mike looking into a mirror to find out he’s assuming the identity of an old-timey Japanese prostitute which feels kinda off-putting yet comical, but I”m sure the symbolism deals with the Japanese cultures themes of reincarnation and love beyond time and space… I think.

The music is catchy when it needs to be and you gotta at least commend the Dub Cast for attempting to sing their hearts out in English knowing that this was mainly intended for the Japanese “Idol” genre to begin with, and the aesthetic is colorful and does what it needs to do to cater to its crowd. If they wanted to delve into LGBTQ characters in relationships, it would’ve been better handled, but overall it’s a weird yet mildly entertaining watch in the right mindset.
