“South Park” Viewership Numbers Bests “Rick and Morty” , “The Simpsons”, and “Family Guy”
According to a new report from Comedy Central, South Park is officially the top cable comedy series for adults the seventh straight year bringing in 30 billion minutes watched. The series is ranked third for 2019 when compared to Netflix viewership for The Office (52 billion) and Friends (32 billion) and counts only cable-TV viewership for new and rerun episodes. Streaming figures, which Hulu in the past has noted is also the top destination for the one-time exclusive streaming home to the ViacomCBS series whence compared to anything else the service has, were not included in this study.
South Park recently went for $500 million in the latest bid for the show’s streaming rights which went to HBO Max which launches next year. On digital and social platforms, South Park does another almost 120 million views.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
