“The Simpsons”: The New Voice Of ‘Sherri, Terri, and Martin’ Is…
In a startling turn of events, the producers of The Simpsons have found a replacement voice for the recently departed Russi Taylor who helped give life to numerous voices from the longest-running animated comedy series in primetime. Russi voiced the likes of Sherri, Terri, Martin Prince, and a helping of others until her untimely passing over the summer.
Her replacement? Noted voice actress, Grey Griffin. Grey has held numerous jobs over the years for such franchises like The Fairly Odd Parents, The Loud House, and more. Now, she takes on all of Russi Taylor’s former voices from The Simpsons.
Our Take
Grey is an excellent voice actress, but I think the producers of The Simpsons took a misstep here. Instead of replacing the voice of popular characters, probably the more prudent move would have been to just create new characters. Again, this isn’t taking anything away from Grey as an actress, I just would’ve preferred to see a more original route.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
