Netflix Orders “Japan Sinks 2020” Set To Premiere In 2020 And Produced By Japan
I remember in 2012 when Roland Emmerich had directed a pile of shit film called 2012 that was all about Earth going through all sorts of crazy climate and weather-related phenomenon meant as a means to remind us that regardless of our differences, we are all of one species. Roland’s much better film Independence Day probably did a better job at uniting the world for a common cause, but here were are still melting our ice caps and throwing garbage in the oceans.
Fortunately, Netflix has ordered a new original anime series entitled Japan Sinks 2020, inspired by Sakyo Komatsu’s 1973 science-fiction novel Japan Sinks that’s all about Japan feeling the negative effects of a growing ecological threat all the while the government plugs it’s ears and says, “Nanna Nanna Boo-Boo” to the scientists who are begging for mankind-saving measures to help combat this threat. Ten episodes are on the way to Netflix set to hit in 2020 by director Masaaki Yuasa. It’s expected a worldwide release with an English dub.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
