Watch: Squidbillies Turns A Dozen In New Trailer
Can you believe it’s been twelve seasons of Squidbillies? In any event, now that Mike Tyson Mysteries is on a break, we get to look forward to our slimy fellas holding up stores, getting each other pregnant, and if this trailer is any indication a bunch of messes.
America’s fourth favorite animated family returns to heal the growing divide in this nation with inbred mountain hijinks. The new season features all-new covers of the theme song from artists such as Shooter Jennings, Shannon Shaw & Dan Auerbach, Ray Wylie Hubbard, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and more.
Squidbillies is created and produced by Dave Willis (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) and Jim Fortier, the quarter-hour animated comedy series follows America’s favorite family of violent, rural cephalopods addicted to ignorance and raising hell in the red clay of Dougal County, Georgia.
Season 12 of Squidbillies premieres August 11th at Midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
