English Dub Review: Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You “The Proposal”

Overview:

Shin successfully performs surgery on Mizuho’s dad. Can he finally prove to Mizuho that he can make her happy?

Our Take(Spoilers):

I’m starting to think that this might end in the next episode. I hope I’m right because this is lame. I understand that Shin is in love with Mizuho and sees Kizuki as competition. But when Kizuki offers to stay with Mizuho while she waits, he gets all defensive and says, “Only family is allowed in the ICU.” Not only is that untrue (unless Japan is different), but even if it is, I’m sure Shin could pull some strings. But he’s being petty, and I think that alone makes me hope his “proposal” gets denied. I only want Mizuho to say yes to marrying Shin so we can get this over with. I’m not even going to discuss the fact that he expects her to marry him without dating at all.

It’s nice to see that Shugo and Kizuki are cool again. They talked on the phone and seemed to be getting along anyway. Speaking of Shugo, I’ve seen his name spelled three different ways. I’ve seen it spelled as Shugo, Shuugo, and Syugo on-screen from a text message in this episode so that might be the correct one. Still rooting for him, I think.
