Max Wright Star of Alf Has Passed Away
Who will keep an eye on Alf now?
Max Wright is one of the most beloved TV dads. Performing as Will Tanner, Wright was one of the central characters on the series, Alf. Between his wholesome charm and humour, he made for the perfect contrast to the puppeteered alien life form that moved into his attic and continuously tried to eat his cat.
Wright was diagnosed with lymphoma in 1995 and battled with cancer for the remainder of his life. On Wednesday, June 26, Wright passed away in his home in Hermosa Beach, California. He is survived by two children.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
