Apollo Gauntlet & Ballmastrz: 9009: Updates on New Seasons
And now we know.

We saw some reports that Apollo Gauntlet wasn’t getting any additional episodes ordered for a second season, so we decided to do some digging with our own sources and verify that, in fact, the show will not be returning for a second season on Adult Swim. The series joins Hot Streets in the network’s 2019 announced cancels. That said, it appears that creator Myles Langlois is continuing to make a variety of online shorts including Apollo Gauntlet so I bet this won’t be the last we hear from the Canadian-based producer.
Apollo Gauntlet, a quarter-hour animated adventure comedy series set in a futuristic medieval society. The series centers around Paul Cassidy, an ordinary cop on Earth, but when the evil Dr. Benign transports him to another world, he becomes a new kind of hero. With the help of a magical suit and a set of talking gauntlets, he’s able to fight crime exactly the way he wants…and he’ll do it as APOLLO GAUNTLET!

In better news, Dana Snyder has confirmed in a recent of his podcast called Dino and Dana’s Safe Space starring Tish that he is working on the second season of Ballmastrz:9009. It can be hard to hear because there seems to be so much food eating going on, but Dana at about the 2:07 mark confirms the return.
The year is 9009. Ballmastrz: 9009 follows washed up superstar and notorious party gal Gaz Digzy, who after a spiral of destructive antics is demoted to the worst team in The Game: The Leptons. Her only way back to the top is to somehow lead these pathetic misfits to victory. Good luck, Gaz. You’ll need it! The quarter-hour series is created by Christy Karacas (Superjail!) and produced by Titmouse.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
