Watch: Adam Carolla Talks “Crank Yankers” On Stern Show
Howard’s fresh off the first week of book promotion and yet still has the time to get great information from interviews.
A couple of months ago it was announced that Comedy Central is reviving the adult puppet comedy series Crank Yankers. The series has been ordered for 20 episodes and the one and only Adam Carolla, also the co-creator on the series together with Jimmy Kimmel, stopped by The Howard Stern Show to give listeners an update on the show’s production. Judging from the clip, Adam more or less confirms Jonathan Kimmel running the series which will obviously see some of the day-to-day stuff that Adam and Jimmy used to do probably be not as paramount.
No premiere date has been announced for Crank Yankers, but the crank calling puppets will be part of an attraction for the upcoming Comedy Central Clusterfest that’s happening in a few weeks and you can get dates with ticketing information for that here.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
