Netflix’s “Tuca & Bertie” Get Teaser For 75 Cents On The Dollar
A boob pops out and walks across the counter…yes we’re excited.
Netflix has dropped a new teaser touting “Equal Pay Day” all over the joint and it’s our first real action of the upcoming new Netflix series Tuca & Bertie.
The series will star Tiffany Haddish (Legends of Chamberlain Heights) as the voice of Tuca, a cocky, care-free toucan, and Bertie voiced by Ali Wong (American Housewife), an anxious, daydreaming songbird. Both are 30-something year-old bird-women pals who live in the same apartment building. Other cast slated to be part of the series includes Nicole Byer, Richard E. Grant, John Early, Reggie Watts, Tig Notaro, Amber Ruffin, Jermaine Fowler, Tessa Thompson, plus Steve Yeun voicing the role of Bertie’s boyfriend. Lisa Hanawalt is the creator of the series and Shadowmachine is producing.
