In a new Emmy-begging interview with Deadline, the producers of Family Guy have revealed a slew of juicy details for the show’s upcoming season. The episode will be a two-parter and will kick off the show’s season Other new characters include Mandy Moore coming along and voicing Quagmire’s bastard teenage daughter and Bryan Cranston joining the series as Peter’s new boss in place of Carrie Fisher. There will also be a proper sendoff for Adam West as “The Mayor”.

As Mickey Mouse inches closer to a take over from FOX ownership that the likes of Seth MacFarlane and Loren Bouchard have lamented as of late, the first tragedy of the aforementioned merger continues to wreak of what could have been an awesome show. Producer Rob Liefeld noted that he “mourns the loss” of the now axed adaptation of his Deadpool animated series coming from producer and Emmy winner Donald Glover in what could be a somber notice of things to come should a Disney-FOX merger take place.

The closest we got to seeing the proposed adult animated series was in the form of a leaked test footage sample from the soon-to-be honored (via LA Animation Festival) producer Chris Prynoski along with a bunch of leaked script pages by way of the show’s former producers. Who’s next?
