The event is being held at The Ann and Jerry Moss Theater–New Roads School Herb Alpert Educational Village and tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by the aforementioned link.
The Simpsons will premiere this Fall for its 30th season.
The New York Television Festival is slated for a 2018 Summer bow and the annual festival is getting ready to showcase its strong suit…animation. The one time home of Animals has a bevy of new pilots and shorts that will be shown in hopes of potential pickups to series. Here’s a sample of some of the older-skewing animated pilots expected to be showcased:

Tommy Wants His Mommy [World Festival Premiere]

An absurdly banal series following a 28-year-old slacker who moves back in with his suburban mom, who begins mentoring him in the family business: life coaching.
True Puppet Theater [World Festival Premiere]
Created by Victor Varnado – New York, NY
This comedic series puts an unexpected spin on true-crime formats, with hilarious retellings of startling stories with paper puppets.
