“Ayo & Teo” Launch New Instagram Animated Series

Reverse Brothers Pawn is a new Instagram animated series that launches today on the WeBuyGold profile @ Noon PT featuring Ayo & Teo as the stars. According to Billboard, the series follows Ayo & Teo while they run their intergalactic resale shop, parodying reality television shows like “Pawn Stars” and “Hardcore Pawn” with humor and storylines crafted for millennials.
DaKidGowie will be a guest star in one of the six episodes slated to stream over the next several weeks.
Reverse Brothers Pawn follows previous entries in the WeBuyGold shorts-animated series empire. Other hip-hop musicians such as Mr. Grizzley and Vic Mensa have previously premiered animated series on WeBuyGold.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
