English Dub Review: Garo the Vanishing Line “Chance Meeting”

Meh, not really.

Overview (Spoilers Below)

Sword, Sophie, and Gina head to some shore town where Sword runs into a young dude named Pedro who is getting constantly assaulted by a local gang of whom are also responsible for killing his girlfriend and while at first Sword doesn’t seem to care, eventually he helps the local lad. Also, Sophie spends the entire episode stewing about the fact that Sword ate her chocolate but she eventually gets replenished her sugary snack.

Our Take

Filler, some flashbacks, and a plot that has nothing to do with Sword’s upcoming big battle, but I quite liked Pedro and his story. I’m not sure I cared THAT much for an entire episode of his emo lyrics, but alright. Anyone expecting any major battles to take place, you’re gonna have a bad time, but if you’re enjoying our fabled hero visiting a bunch of towns on the way to El Dorado, then you might like this.
