“Trae the Truth” Animated Series Headed To 420tv
And we may have a launch date for the service.
The home of the upcoming Super Slackers isn’t done yet with animated pickups, not by a long shot. That’s right, 420tv has announced that they have picked up Trae the Truth, the animated series inspired by the hip-hop act of the same name exec-produced by Omar Epps that was originally featured on Marlon Wayans’ WTF channel, will soon be available on the cannabis-infused streaming platform probably as soon as launch.
420tv has a countdown for launch counter on its website with an expiration of February 22nd, so it appears we are about a month and a half away before the streaming channel’s launch. 420tv is a pot channel run by 420 Entertainment that will be on OwnZones.com and its mobile apps first, with an expansion coming through other internet distributors, and potentially linear TV networks and cable operators.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
