Review: The Jellies “Trial of the Century”
Not quite.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
The TV court case of the century ensues between Aubrey Graham and Joe Budden over a sweater, but then a recently heartbroken Reggie shows up with his own account of what went down that inspires Judge Lee to dismiss the case. Then someone attempts to run over Joe which nearly causes another commotion.
Our Take
The Jellies is officially the angry dog in the cage that no one is letting out in its first season on Adult Swim. It’s a show that has the DNA and slant to do be truly crazy but is instead locked up begging to get out. Yes, the court case was pretty funny, but I’ve seen episodes of Judge Judy with more passion than what was advertised as “Trial of the Century”.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
