Review: We Bare Bears “The Nom Nom Show”
We’re all stars now…in the dope show.
Overview (Possible Spoilers Below)
The episode starts off when Nom Nom the egocentric Koala begins his live TV special with the hedgehog as his music guy but behind the curtain, Nom Nom is an irritated mess with Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear working as his interns. When the live acts are unable to show up due to ridiculously funny reasons, Nom Nom ends up having all 3 Bears partake as last-minute replacements to the canceled acts with each act having either a hilarious or embarrassing result yet the audience still laughs thinking it’s all part of the show.
By the 3rd act, Nom-Nom reaches a breaking point after a near-death experience and starts getting violent with some of the audience members and assumes that his career is over until he gets a deal from his agent to extend his show to a full season on the condition that the bears become co-stars. Being the selfish dick that he is, Nom-Nom turns it down and the episode ends with the keyboard-playing hedgehog getting his own show instead.
Our Take
The bears as interns all seemed well-intentioned in helping their Nom Nom but each of the acts they were forced to partake in hilariously backfired in different ways and I found myself laughing at the comedy of errors as the episode progressed.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
