Comics Review: Rick and Morty: Pocket Like You Stole It #4
With no more show, you might as well start getting in on the comics!

Overview (Some Spoilers Below)
This month’s issue of “Pocket” sees Rick and Morty escape the dimension with a shit-load of Jerrys and into a world with a shit-load of Mortys ! We definitely get more of a Pokemon like comics experience as Morty battles the other Mortys and then captures them after winning said battles. Their journey takes them to the Citadel of the Ricks so as to confront the Council of the Ricks, but along the way, we get some great dialogue and scenes with callbacks to classic movies, TV shows, video games (you kids remember Gameshark?) and a whole lot more.
Included in this month’s release are also a bunch of new “Rick” trading cards for your perusal.
Our Take
Not a bad issue. The plot’s a bit convoluted, but I had enough fun with the “a-ha!” callbacks that it didn’t really matter. I kind of wish the Mortys were a bit more creative because I thought some of the Jerrys were hilarious. In any case, we’ve got one more issue before the trade paperback, so hopefully, we can get some resolve on November 22nd.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
