Review: We Bare Bears “The Kitty”

The episode starts out with the Bears adopting a cute stray kitten they come across within their forest. However, everything comedically goes to hell when they return four hours later with cat food to find out the kitten is actually a cougar cub that let it’s large & dangerous family in their unsupervised home. The hilarity elevates itself when the brothers discover some unorthodox solutions to get the Cougars out with knowledge they acquired from youtube videos you wouldn’t expect.

The adorable presence of the cub when the brothers first encounter it is both cute yet hilariously ominous with the consequences they would later face. And many of the jokes while well-executed, predicated upon the comical stereotypes of cats without showing actual house-cats.

Our Take

I had an unexpected good laugh with this one. Much of the episode was spent on the brothers figuring out ways to deal with their predatory intruders but it’s handled in such a way that it works itself out with a cute resolution that manages to balance the heart & humor of the show.
