English Dub Review: Lastman “The Teeth, the Teeth, the Teeth”

She’s better than anything you’ve tried.

Overview (Spoilers Below)

This week, Lastman sees Richard having to run errands as a favor to pay off a possible debt for Siri’s hospital bills. When an insider at the hospital warns Rizel and his cult, they come knockin’ for an assassination attempt while Rich is dealing with a crazy lady who has to be delivered in order receive payment. Just as Rich is getting his money, he has to dart to the hospital and save Siri, but not before learning that a powerful force just kicked Rizel’s ass leaving the electrified one to go and tease new recruits. We’re also introduced to David’s brother Howard who is able to show up in the nick of time and save Siri from heart failure.

Our Take

Lastman continues to impress, adding sexual situations to a genre that’s often too tame for TV here in America all the while continuing us down the rabbit hole that is Siri’s take on Alice in Wonderland. I would’ve liked to have seen more of the abilities that she was referring to as the quick fight scene with Rich versus the cult was fun, but not juicy enough probably in favor of the humorous but tedious task given to Rich that should remind fans of Grand Theft Auto of the monotonous missions needed to progress before you get to the good stuff. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long.
