Review: We Bare Bears “The Fair”

The baby bears are at the fair trying to get someone to purchase them and decide to join up with one of the games so that someone can win them in a prize. They meet Lewis (“Weird Al”) and he agrees to have them be the prizes but we find out he’s full of shit. Lewis ends up going back on his word with the bears and fixes the game so that NOBODY can win them. Fortunately, Grizz is able to get a lucky shot in the game and save his brothers, but when the patrons realize they were swindled out of their cash, it looks to be game over for Lewis.

Our Take

One of the better gags that I’ve seen in this show features a dude with an old cell phone wishing he can take pictures of the crazy action going on with Grizz and Lewis. “The Fair” proved to be a very fair episode despite the fact that there was a pretty long montage right smack dab in the middle and incongruent mouth animations (especially near the end). In any case, Weird Al was an awesome villain and anytime we can get a baseball thrown at the crotch out of an episode it’s a good day.
