“Parent Teacher Conference”

Qrow and Taiyang are called into a parent teacher conference after Yang and Ruby cause a disaster. In the middle of the conference, the two of them begin arguing, with taiyang saying that Qrow is no help. Eventually, Taiyang gets fed up and throws Qrow out, with Qrow taking the blender with him. Seeing as the girls have been punished enough, Ozpin lets them go.

“Blake’s Beauty Vlog”

Sun starts filming Blake’s first beauty vlog. She isn’t too into it, but he insists that she does it for the clicks. It becomes apparent that Sun knows absolutely nothing about makeup. Blake takes out her compact, calling it ‘dork repellent’, and powders the camera. Sun retreats in a coughing fit, and Blake declares that it worked.

“Surprise Parties”

Ruby offers to throw a surprise party, but the other three turn her down. Apparently, Ruby’s parties are always a disaster. She ended up scaring Jaune during his. She made a Grimm-sculpted cake for Yang’s, which Yang ended up attacking instinct. She ended up frightening Professor Port so much that he ended up having a heart attack. Ruby says that at least he didn’t die.

Nothing particularly special this time around. Nothing bad, but nothing really that good, either. These seem more slice of life than plot related, which is alright. RWBY Chibi seems to be pushing that Qrow and Taiyang really don’t like each other, something only briefly covered in the show. Hints of more to come, perhaps?
