‘Dallas & Robo’ Bringing Stacked Cast To Youtube Red
Hopefully, we’ll get to see it.
On the same week in which Youtube changed its logo, we now have a new animated series to look forward to in 2018. The series is called Dallas & Robo and eight episodes are being produced by Shadowmachine and will feature the likes of John Cena, Kat Dennings, Jane Lynch, Dana Snyder, Giancarlo Esposito, Clancy Brown, Bree Williamson, Nat Faxon, Taran Killam and Milana Vayntraub.
The star wrestler-turned-actor John Cena is the warrior-poet Robo and 2 Broke Girls‘ Kat Dennings as sassy space trucker Dallas: the duo navigates their way through cannibal bikers, rival space truckers and vending machine burritos as they try to make a few dollars through the seedy world of interplanetary big rigging.
The WWE Youtube channel will host the series for Youtube Red coming from Mike Roberts, and being written by Matt Mariska, Andy Cipes, and John Cena.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
