RWBY Vol.5 Weiss Trailer Released
Winter is coming, and her last name is Schnee.
Rooster Teeth for the past week on Twitter has teased still-pictures of the upcoming Vol.5 and has stated previously at RTX 2017 that it will release four individual trailers of each character starting with Weiss Schnee of Team RWBY.
Our Take
Weiss’s trailer shows a mix of old & new in terms of art style along with teasing the return of her sister Winter. Weiss has come a long way and Vol.4 did the impossible by having me like her when she stuck it to the selfishly entitled one-percenter fuckwits of her homeland in Atlas.
RWBY Vol.5 will premiere October 14th on Rooster Teeth.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
