Last weekend, The Simpsons episode “Homer at the Bat’ was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Producers of The Simpsons and a number of ball players from the show were on hand to remember the episode’s airing 25 years ago that revolved around Mr. Burns recruiting pro baseball players for a company softball game.
