“Simpsons”: News Bits: Shaq To Guest Star ; Episode Gets Banned In Russia
Before an all-new episode airs this Sunday Night @ 8 pm ET/PT, we’ve got some quick-hit news for The Simpsons for you to check out.
According to Entertainment Weekly, NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neill will be guest-starring in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons on FOX. At this time, it is unknown as to what capacity Shaq will be guest-starring, but it will most certainly be for the 29th season of The Simpsons.
Russian authorities have banned an episode of The Simpsons entitled “Looking for Mr. Goodbart” which featured a scene in which Homer went into a church and played a derivation of Pokemon Go! Leaders of the Russian Eastern Orthodox Church complained to Russian network 2 x 2 about the offense after patrons were doing the exact same thing as Homer and as a result, the episode has been banned in Russia.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
