Sausage Party Is Coming To Hulu
This could mean a lot more than just a movie going to a streaming service.
Deadline is reporting that Annapurna Pictures has made a streaming deal with Hulu for a bunch of projects, one of them that includes the R-rated theatrical CG film, Sausage Party, starring Seth Rogen.
Sausage Party is about one sausage leading a group of supermarket products on a quest to discover the truth about their existence and what really happens when they become chosen to leave the grocery store. The film features the vocal talents of a who’s who of today’s comedy stars – Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton, and Salma Hayek.

This comes just a few weeks after we reported on Annapurna re-teaming with the producers of Sausage Party for a new series potentially coming to Amazon. I think Annapurna can use this deal as leverage against Amazon in that if the Prime service decides to pass on the newest project, here’s a deal already in place with Hulu that could see projects come to the official streaming service that already has South Park and its built-in cord-cutting audience.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
