Syfy Pilot Gets “Happy!”

Syfy could actually be a fun network to watch again.

Syfy appears to be jumping into the live-action/animated hybrid show types ala ABC’s Imaginary Mary and Son of Zorn with a new pilot called Happy! 

The pilot is an adaptation of the Grant Morrison (aka God) graphic novel of the same name that will see Nick Sax (Chris Meloni), an ex-cop and now broken-down hitman who does jobs for the mob. One of those hits causes Nick to  envision a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue-winged horse named “Happy” voiced by Bobby Moynihan (Chozen). 

The cast also includes Lili Mirojnick as Detective Meredith McCarthy, Patrick Fischler, Ritchie Coster and Zabryna Guevara.
