“The Laugh Factory” Youtube Channel Uploads Four-Part Animated Series Pilot For “Court Ordered”

Sentencing hearing after the cut.

The Laugh Factory has been for YEARS a de facto brand for finding the best in original comedy, usually in the stand-up space. However, who says the brand can’t try something new every now and again? Enter Court Ordered. We first told you guys about this series on our Kick List back when the producers were looking for help in funding the pilot.

COURT ORDERED is a show about down on his luck alcoholic, drug addict ERIK MYERS, who is sentenced to Rehab Group Therapy after being arrested for drunk driving. There, Erik meets an array of characters who help him on his journey to getting rehabilitated back into life. Struggling with the stresses of looking for work, dating, and dealing with everyday people, all while completely sober.

The show is loosely based on the life and stand-up of comedian Erik Myers and features stories from an all comedian cast and its ongoing guest stars.
The pilot episode has been split into four parts, and you can watch them all on The Laugh Factory’s Youtube channel.  Let us know what you think of the series in the comments. I personally think it’s one of the most “TV-ready” ideas I’ve seen in a while go straight to Youtube.
