No Win At The Oscars, But “My Life As A Zucchini” Begins Slow Burn At Box Office
Will the loss at the Oscars matter? (Probably not).
Nobody watched the Oscars last night anyway, but My Life As A Zucchini lost out to Disney whom is usually the perennial winner anyway. That said, the movie DID begin its theater bow and according to Deadline, the Oscar-nominated feature grossed $28k in only two theaters with a dozen more coming next weekend.
The story follows a little orphan boy nicknamed Zucchini who is befriended by a police officer who takes him to an orphange. At first he struggles to find his place in this at-times strange and hostile environment, but when a young girl is dropped off with the other children, he begins to learn about love. The English-language voice cast includes Will Forte, Nick Offerman, Ellen Page and Amy Sedaris.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
