Archer Season 8 Is Definitely Coming To FXX This Time…**UPDATED WITH PROMOS

Let’s try this again…shall we?

Set to premiere this Spring on FXX, will be the eighth season of Archer. While we don’t have a specific date and time, the move is again stressing the fact that the network wants to continue building out original animation IP’s for the network and Archer is the place to start.

The upcoming season of Archer:Dreamland revolves around the hardboiled private eye Sterling Archer and his quest to find his partner’s killer in 1947 Los Angeles. The case proves to be more difficult than expected after Archer quickly gets mixed up in a deadly game of tug of war between L.A.’s most powerful crime bosses. The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Jessica Walter, Aisha Tyler, Judy Greer, Chris Parnell, Amber Nash, Adam Reed and Lucky Yates.

The next season is for eight episodes with 16 still on the way of what looks to be the franchise’s final go of things. In terms of FXX, animated offerings usually consist of reruns of The Simpsons and ADHD programming with no real signs of anything being picked up or renewed anytime soon.
