“The Simpsons” To Get a Heaping Dose of Hip-Hop for Hour-Long Episode

I can NOT wait for this monster to air.

Snoop Dogg, Common, RZA, Taraji P. Henson, and Keegan-Michael Key will all guest star in the hour-long episode of The Simpsons that will air in January only on FOX. All of the rappers will voice themselves while  Henson will voice the role of “Praline” and Key will voice the role of “Jazzy James”.

The episode is entitled  “The Great Phatsby” and will be inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby all the while featuring original rap and hip-hop songs written by Jim Beanz (Empire).

Entertainment Weekly has the full scoop for which you can check out here.

Of all the guest stars besides Key, Snoop has seriously done a massive amount of voice over work. Hell, we even pushed for a spin-off series for his guest-starring role in Mike Tyson Mysteries. Other credits include King of the Hill, Crank Yankers, and Sanjay & Craig.
