Forget “The Simpsons”; “South Park” Called THIS Election
Holy hell…
The country voted for Donald Trump…it happened, now let’s move on. But less we forget the show that called the 2016 Presidential election. No, I don’t mean The Simpsons and their 2000 prediction that Donald Trump would be President of the United States. I mean the prediction made by South Park.
For weeks, South Park has been touting the fact that America was ready to elect a red-faced candidate with bad hair as President-elect no matter WHAT he says, and that’s exactly what happened. No matter how many trends on Twitter showed up in the last year that reflected poor judgment on President Trump’s behalf, no matter how many tapes came out that should’ve ship rocked the whole deal, and no matter what kind of celebrity push there was going to be…President Trump was going to be a reality.
So suck it up, kids! Regardless whether or not you agree with the outcome, President Trump is a reality and you made it happen. Also of interest, marijuana legalization continues to be a thing, so at least we’ve got that. So tonight @ 10pm ET, only on Comedy Central, smoke ’em if you got ’em and watch as South Park elects a new leader.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
