Review: Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man VS. The Sinister 6 “Spider Slayers – Part 3”
Christ, I can’t wait for this show to die.
Spoilers Below
Spider-Man, the Web-Warriors, and the Spider-Slayers all head to the Triskelion for some much-needed rest, but are invaded by Kaine who is out for revenge after his loss to Scarlet and the others. Eventually, Kaine calls on the Spider-Slayers and even absorbs all of the synthezoids to become a big huge synth-monster that tries to destroy the Web-Warriors once-and-for-all.
With underlying trust issues being a cause for all of this craziness, it’s Agent Venom that causes the synth-monster to explode and inspires Flash to trust Scarlet Spider.
Our Take
I’m sorry, I just couldn’t get past how silly the character design for the synth-monster really was, and just how uninspiring having anything symbiote related to this series really is. Despite his demise, Agent Venom was an excellent comic book character, but this show didn’t do him any favors. Same with Mary Jane’s Spider-Woman, which is just as uninspiring. There’s a reason why this show is going away, and episodes like this remind us why.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
