President Nixon uses science to make everyone watching TV or going on the internet dumber. Fry’s able to avoid all of that and become the smartest man in the world! With two Nixons vying for the office, Fry has to team up with Bender to find the guy behind it all and get a reversal. We do just that, but we get a bit of a showdown at the end which leads to a controversial decision as to whom runs the free world.

Our Take

I’ve been waiting for this issue for a while, and it didn’t disappoint. With politics and Ninja Turtles the hot buttons to push right now, Bongo gears up and knocks it out. I don’t know if there were many laugh out loud moments, but if you’re looking for a perfect reflection of the Republican nominee, Futurama #80 has got you covered.
