Son of Zorn co-creator exits FOX series
Son of Zorn is about half-way through production on a 13-episode order from FOX but the rest of it will have to be done without co-showrunner and co-creator of the series, Eli Jorne. That’s because, Deadline is reporting that Eli has left production of the series due to creative differences.
Son Of Zorn employs a mix of live-action and animated lead characters. Upon arriving home on Earth for the first time in 10 years, Zorn (Jason Sudeikis), a fully animated, legendary warrior, finds that reconnecting with his live-action son, Alan (Johnny Pemberton), and ex-wife, Edie (Cheryl Hines), while suffering through a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life, is harder than waging actual war in his distant, mystical homeland of Zephyria. Tim Meadows also stars.
Son of Zorn is expected to premiere in 2017, and now Sally McKenna is the sole showrunner.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
