Streaming Services News Round Up: Crackle goes Comcast;Netflix raises Prices; AMZN announces monthly plans
Crackle
Starting this Wednesday, Comcast/Xfinity customers will be able to access Crackle on-demand original programming like animated comedies SuperMansion.
Crackle’s premium, original long-form content will be distributed for the first time as part of Comcast’s cable service, via Xfinity on Demand in the home. It will also be available for TV Everywhere viewing with an Internet connection via the Xfinity TV app and website.
News about a second season of SuperMansion is supposed to be incoming.
Netflix
Expect a $2 increase to Netflix subscription services which means your $7.99 a month service will be up to $9.99 a month. BoJack Horseman Season Three is coming later this year, and F is for Family just got picked up for a second season.
Amazon
Amazon has announced monthly subscription plans including a $10.99 Amazon Prime subscription, and a video streaming one for $8.99. Wanna sign up for Amazon for the year? BOOM! About $108.
