Review: We Bare Bears “Ranger Tabes”

The bears lose a package while in transit, so Ranger Tabes shows up to solve the crime. Turns out, there’s been quite a few packages gone missing and the Ranger wants to get to the bottom of it. Everyone discovers a downed drone that should have been the method on which the bears’ package would’ve been delivered. The package is clearly missing, but no one wants to help the Ranger find it, the bears would rather a refund for their package…or do they? The bears decide to catch the thief after a change of heart and soon the ranger brings them to a cave filled with packages. We come to find out that the drones have become self-aware and have been hoarding all of the area’s packages. The drones try to attack, but Ranger Tabes kicks ass leading one of the drones to take off with Pan-Pan in tow. Pan is saved, and Ranger takes the bears on her next mission.

Our Take

We’ve kind of seen Ranger Tabes’ kind before in other cartoons, but with the bears, all bets are off. You really don’t know which way they are going to head until it happens. Heck, even Ice Bear was willing to take the refund and just walk! The drones certainly remind us that Skynet is still out there, but as long as we have Ranger Tabes, we should be ok.
