“The Ballad of Barnacle Bill Part 1”

Spongebob teams up with Barnacle Bill to find Bill’s long lost sweetheart, but on the way the ship gets destroyed and the two have to battle a bunch of pirates and whatnot on a beach. Eventually, a flying thing shows up and snatches Bill leaving us with a ‘to be continued’ for next issue.

We also get new entries of ‘Spongefunnies’ and a tale about mermaids cuz why not?

Our Take

I’m not so sure about this two-parter. The first part really didn’t do anything to get me all that interested in a sequel. For the most part, I kinda felt the premise was solid, but the delivery was sort of all over the place.
