Review: Pickle and Peanut “Bike Jumper”
Spoilers Below
Bike Jumper is like an Evil Knievel in that he posts videos online of him doing crazy bike jumps. The dude’s sets on a tour that lead shim to the Mart parking lot, but when he shows a daring trick, the Bike Jumper wipes out and gets seriously injured. Peanut opts to substitute for the Bike Jumper and from the looks of it he’s doing a damn good job, even better than the real Bike Jumper.
Bike Jumper doesn’t mind, but he’s starting to relax more and act like a boss while Pickle is waiting on him hand and foot. Peanut eventually gets invited to a monster truck jam where he’s got to do the craziest jump ever called “The Annihilator”. Bike Jumper has a plan to see Peanut get killed in exchange for fame but has a change of heart to try and save him. BJ and Pickle show up to the big jump just as Pickle is making the attempt, only to watch their pal totally not stick the landing and thus gets himself killed. Fortunately, Pickle and Bike Jumper redo the jump and merge Peanut’s soul with his body, and everything’s back to normal.
Our Take
Who would have thought jumping bikes would get you famous? In the world of Pickle and Peanut, it fits right in. This week’s episode featured wall-to-wall excitement and didn’t let down the gas at one moment. Bike Jumper’s “Change of Heart” bit was hilarious, and Pickle having to merge his pal’s body back with its soul was so off putting that it was enjoyable. You should definitely check out this episode.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
