Ratings Are In 2/22/16: FOX toons post gains but ‘Bordertown’ is struggling
Good news/bad news as it pertains to FOX original animation on Sunday Night, as the programming block’s mainstays were all up in the numbers for the overnight ratings, however the same cannot be said for Bordertown according to Deadline:
On Fox, ratings love was a little bit more in the air after a rather sad-ish Valentine’s Day. The Simpsons (1.4/5) and Family Guy (1.3/4) were up 8% each in the demo over last week’s declines. Otherwise, Bob’s Burgers was up a tenth (1.1/4 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall) and Bordertown (0.7/2) were even with their low February 14 results.
FOX takes the week off this week due to the Oscars being in tow, but everything should be back March 6th with new episodes of everything listed above, but with Bordertown at a new start time. Will the time change help the struggling freshman effort from the studios that give you Family Guy/Bob’s Burgers?

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
