Trailer Breakdown: Animals Season One
The premiere of Animals on HBO is less than two weeks away, and we decided to slice up the trailer that debuted the other day and provide further explanation for some of the scenes you had seen. Check it…
If the show doesn’t take place inside, more often than not you’ll notice some pretty well-known back drops inspired by the setting of HBO’s newest series, in this case Central Park, NYC. Fans living in the NY/NJ Metro area are more than familiar with the coaches clicking their way in and around the park for rides.
Expect to see more of the variety of domesticated animals. As the trailer shows, dogs, cats, insects, and more are to be expected in the first season of Animals.
To help voice the litany of animals, the producers of the HBO animated series have employed a huge number of guest stars. Cobie Smulders, Ellie Kemper, Rob Corddry, Molly Shannon, Horatio Sanz, Wanda Sykes, Nick Kroll, Marc Maron, Adam Scott, Ben Schwartz, Jay and Mark Duplass, Matarese, Luciano, and Jessica Chastain.

These animals don’t seem to be the cuddly wuddly type, though already I’m loving the clash of cuteness with what looks to be murderous intentions. For example, these kitties are getting ready to carve up some poor bastard.
Animals premieres February 5th @ 11:30 pm ET/PT, only on HBO, check your local listings.
